Washington, DC – Today, Representative Sherrill voted to raise the wages for up to 33 million Americans and builds upon the $15 minimum wage bill New Jersey signed into law earlier this year. Representative Sherrill is a co-sponsor of the Raise the Wage Act, which gradually increases the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 and ensures New Jersey’s businesses are on an equal playing field with businesses across the country.
