Inflation Reduction Act and CHIPS & Science Act Resources

The Inflation Reduction Act

I proudly fought to lower the cost of healthcare and energy for New Jersey families through the Inflation Reduction Act. This legislation takes critical steps to address the economic and cost of living issues many New Jersey families face.

Clean energy tax credits are bringing down the cost of utilities and building a greener future, and private sector companies have already made investments of over $150 billion in clean energy production and manufacturing, and another $88 billion in electric vehicle and battery production.

This bill is already lowering healthcare costs for New Jersey seniors and families. Insulin is now capped at $35 for seniors — a policy many drug companies are today adopting for all patients, regardless of age. Additionally, the Inflation Reduction Act has capped Medicare Part D out-of-pocket costs at $2,000 per year for recipients beginning in 2025.

CHIPS and Science Act

As a member of the Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party, I’m working to bolster American supply chains, level the playing field for New Jersey businesses, and sustain our world class workforce.

I was proud to fight for the CHIPS and Science Act which has already strengthened American leadership and ignited a manufacturing boom, creating good-paying jobs here in New Jersey and across the United States. We’re also taking bold steps to invest in cutting edge technology and R&D to build for the future and keep the United States competitive for generations to come.
