Appropriations and Community Project Funding Requests for FY26

Each year, the United States Congress considers and enacts annual appropriations bills, which provide the federal government with the funding it needs to operate. These bills fund numerous activities, including government operations, medical research, national defense, infrastructure, and education. You or your organization may submit programmatic and/or language requests. Rep. Sherrill and her team will carefully consider and evaluate each request. 

The deadline to submit a programmatic or language request for FY 2026 is April 25, 2025.

We are waiting on further guidance regarding Community Projects from the House Appropriations Committee for FY26. We will update this page with additional information if it becomes available.
