Remembering Loved Ones Lost on 9/11 from NJ-11

Twenty-three years after the September 11th, 2001 attacks, our nation continues to mourn the lives lost in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, and on Flight 93. 

We remember the 750 New Jerseyans who died on 9/11 – and we continue to stand with the families who lost loved ones that day. We will never forget the first responders from New Jersey who went into the city – and into harm’s way – to save lives and recover others from the rubble.

With each passing year, we must continue to keep the memories of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones alive, honor the sacrifices and bravery of so many of New Jersey’s first responders, and care for those who continue to deal with the ongoing health impacts from their courage that day. 

As we mark this ever-painful anniversary, we also honor the resiliency and strength of our communities, our state, and our nation. In an incredibly dark time in our history, it was our unity that helped us through. 

It has been 23 years since they left this Earth, and still their presence is felt everywhere in our communities. Today and all days we honor those residents of NJ-11 we lost who are listed-- below -- they will never be forgotten.
