Signed Into Law: All Fifteen of Rep. Sherrill’s FY2024 Community Projects to Improve NJ-11
Washington, DC — On Saturday, March 9, President Joe Biden signed into law a portion of the FY2024 budget, which included all fifteen of the Community Project Funding requests Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) submitted on behalf of her district, totaling nearly $16 million.
“I am proud to have led my fifteen Community Projects across the finish line and see them signed into law this past weekend by President Biden. These funding requests address a wide range of issues – like crime prevention and flood mitigation – that are of the utmost importance to local leaders and constituents in NJ-11. With these federal resources, our towns will be able to invest in our communities without raising local taxes and make our district and state an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I look forward to celebrating this achievement with stakeholders in the coming months,” said Rep. Sherrill.
Rep. Sherrill’s FY2024 Community Projects meet the needs of the district addressing issues of crime prevention, traffic safety, flood mitigation, open space preservation, water infrastructure, education, workforce development, and community resources.
