This important bipartisan legislation would allow veteran participants in the Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) to take full advantage of Special Needs Trusts.

Washington, D.C. -- Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) voted today to secure passage of the bipartisan conference report of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021. Representative Sherrill is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and of the bicameral conference committee which produced the report, which now awaits final passage by the Senate.
