"I have been watching the escalation of violence in the Middle East with growing horror. The United States is vital to working toward peace in the region. I was happy to see that President Biden reached out to Prime Minister Netanyahu and that Secretary Blinken has been working on critically needed diplomacy, including sending an envoy. I am committed to working with Israeli and Palestinian leaders on a two-state solution so that they can ensure their children can one day live together in peace."
