Rep. Sherrill’s Office Distributes Valentines from NJ-11 Residents to Departments of Public Works

Livingston, NJ –  Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) and her office collected Valentine’s Day cards and notes of appreciation for NJ-11 Departments of Public Works, written by residents of the 11th District. Cards were sent to both local and county departments alongside a congressional certificate of thanks for their important work for our communities. 

“I am so heartened by the outpouring of support for our Departments of Public Works, especially after the big snow storm we experienced this week. It is wonderful to see teachers utilizing this program to teach their students about the hard work DPW employees do every day to care for our communities. Valentine's Day is a great time to show our support for each other and I know that these cards have brightened the day for our DPWs,” said Rep. Sherrill. “Special thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s program.”

This program is part of a series of community appreciation initiatives by Congresswoman Sherrill and her team, such as “Valentines for Seniors,” “Thanksgiving Thank-Yous for Veterans,” and “2023 Heroes” celebrating the everyday heroes in NJ-11 that inspire us all.
