Rep. Sherrill’s Office Distributes Over 5000 Thank You Notes for Veterans Written by NJ-11 Community

Parsippany, NJ— Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) and her office collected and distributed over 5000 Thanksgiving Thank Yous for veterans across New Jersey, written by residents from the 11th District of New Jersey.

“Every year, I am blown away by the participation from the NJ-11 community in our Thanksgiving Thank Yous program. So many students from across the district submitted wonderful cards of appreciation for our U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, and their families, who have sacrificed so much to serve our great nation. I had the honor of hand delivering a portion of cards to veterans at the Cedar Crest Senior Living Community, New Jersey Firemen's Home, and the Community Hope leadership team and can attest the cards were truly enjoyed,” said Rep. Sherrill. 

The Thanksgiving Thank Yous Program provided an opportunity to say thank you to local veterans and active service members in our community. Congresswoman Sherrill and her office delivered notes to military and VA facilities; veteran service providers; and VFWs and American Legions across New Jersey. Thank Yous collected by Representative Sherrill’s office were distributed to organizations that serve the 11th District’s veterans, including:
