Rep. Sherrill Launches “2023 Heroes” Program

Parsippany, NJ –– Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) is launching the third annual “2023 Heroes” recognition program today. Residents of NJ-11 are encouraged to nominate everyday heroes in their lives — teachers, healthcare providers, first responders, family members, volunteers. Twenty-five 2023 Heroes will be selected. 

Residents can nominate someone by filling out the form linked below. Nominees must live or work in NJ-11. The deadline to nominate a hero is Monday, December 11, 2023. The form to nominate a 2023 Hero can be found here. 

“Today, I am launching the 2023 Heroes program, which each year celebrates people making a positive impact in our community whether it’s through healthcare, public service, education, and more. This holiday season, I encourage all to reflect on those in your life who have been a hero to you, in ways big and small, and nominate them so we as a community can show our gratitude for their dedication,” said Rep. Sherrill.
